Weber & Associates, Inc. is a full-service financial aid consulting service company located in Greenville, South Carolina. The company was originally founded as Financial Aid Consulting and Training Service (FACTS) by Harry V. Weber in 1974.

Services provided involve Title IV of the Higher Education Act (HEA), which specifically involves federal student financial assistance for higher education programs. Some unscrupulous individuals are calling people to ask why they failed to report for jury duty. When the victim responds that they unaware of being scheduled for jury duty they are asked to provide their social security number and date of birth to check on this fake jury duty claim. Watch for anyone who asks for your social security number, date of birth or any other private information.

Fraud Alert!

One of Weber & Associates client schools received an official looking email in memorandum format using the official FDIC logo.  Although it was dated February 7, 2006, it was sent February 7, 2007.  This is a fraudulent email.  It is an attempt to gain access to your personal information.  Do not click on any link!
